We had a packed restaurant (inside and out!) for ‘Valentine’, an evening of poetry and love letters presented by radio personality and actor John Maytham and compiled by author and poet Finuala Dowling.
John wowed the crowd with his reading of poets ranging from Shakespeare to E.E Cummings, Gertrude Stein, Robert Burns, Edward Lear, Jane Austen, Emily Dickinson, Ted Hughes and Gabriel García Márquez.
Along with a 3-course dinner, couples and singles alike felt the love at JOON this Valentine’s Day.
